Do you sell my data?+
No. We build our own software and earn our money with work you can see, not by reselling visitor profiles.
What is the roots cookie?+
That's our own analytics cookie. We build software ourselves, so why use something from Google when we can do it better ourselves? roots measures what happens on the site, not who it is. Want to know more? Check out roots.socialroots.nl.
Why is there a banner at all?+
Because the law asks for it, and because we'd rather ask once honestly than watch you quietly. Refuse everything and the site simply keeps working.
What happens if I refuse everything?+
Absolutely nothing bad. You lose no content, no features, no speed. We just lose some insight, we'll survive.
Do you store my choice on the server?+
No. Your choice lives in your browser's localStorage. Clear it and we'll politely ask again.
