Doorman

The door knows who walks in.

The member pass for members-only houses. Requests are quietly balloted by your own team, approved guests get a branded QR pass on their phone, and the door scans it in one second.

Why we built it

Why we built Doorman

In our hospitality work we saw how private clubs, chef's tables and members-only nights handled access: a guest list in a spreadsheet, a chat group at the door and a host deciding on instinct who could come in. Any screenshot of a confirmation worked just as well.

A members-only house deserves a door as considered as the rest of the experience. So we built Doorman: balloting that stays quiet and graceful, a pass that lives on the guest's phone and a scanner that says yes or no in one second, all in the house's own brand.

No lists, no fuss at the door. Those who belong walk straight in, and the rest never feel the rejection.

What it does

01

Quiet ballot

Requests come in, your team reviews them together and the pass only goes out on full approval. A rejection stays discreet.

02

Living QR pass

The code on the guest's phone changes every few seconds, which makes forwarding a screenshot worthless.

03

Door scanner

At the door you scan with a phone or tablet and instantly see the name, the status and whether the pass is still valid.

04

Your brand, your rules

Colours, fonts, logo and statuses are set per house. The pass feels like a brand object, not a ticket.

See a living pass

This is a real Doorman pass for the fictional house Bisous. The QR code refreshes while you watch, exactly as a guest would show it at the door.
