Dutch financial daily Het Financieele Dagblad awards an FD Gazelle to the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands every year. Social Roots has been on the list without interruption since 2022.

What are the FD Gazellen Awards?
The FD Gazellen Awards are the annual distinction from Het Financieele Dagblad for the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. The name refers to the gazelle: fast, agile and with remarkable stamina.
Since 2004 the editors have looked for companies that grew substantially three years in a row and stayed healthy. Out of hundreds of thousands of Dutch companies, only a small share ends up with a Gazelle.
Winners are announced per province and company size and celebrated at regional events. For many entrepreneurs it is the only growth award that genuinely rests on numbers instead of a jury's opinion.
At least 20% revenue growth
A company has to show at least twenty percent revenue growth over three consecutive years. Not a forecast, but realised figures.
Verified figures
Het Financieele Dagblad checks the annual accounts and continuity. Loss-making or shrinking years are ruled out.
By province and size
The awards are handed out regionally, in the small, medium and large categories. That leaves a short list per province.

Four times on stage.
Breakfast with the mayor, every year
Only a handful of companies in 's-Hertogenbosch make the Gazellen list. Every year, the mayor invites that small group for breakfast at the city hall.
An hour at the table with the other local fast growers: family businesses, manufacturing, tech. No networking drinks with pitches, but coffee, eggs and honest conversations about hiring, scaling and staying in the city.
It is one of the nicest traditions attached to the award. And a good reminder that growth in Den Bosch stays a local affair.
Our four years as a Gazelle
2022
Our first Gazelle. Three years of hard growth, with a team that went from five to fifteen.
2023
The second in a row. Growth now also came from our own software, not just from services.
2024
Third year. More international campaigns and our first own products in the market.
2025
Fourth year in a row as a Gazelle, with nine own software products alongside the agency.
