What is Fonk?
Fonk is the trade magazine for the creative and marketing industry. Its editors follow agencies, advertisers and the latest campaigns, and every year publish the Fonk 150: the ranking of the best marketing agencies in the Netherlands.
Where many lists rely on a jury or on self-reported claims, the Fonk 150 works differently. Fonk has clients of agencies rate their agency anonymously. Those ratings determine who makes the list and in what order.
Of the 35,000+ marketing agencies in the Netherlands, only one hundred and fifty make the cut each year. And those who do receive a glass award bearing the Fonk 150 stamp.
Independent client research
Fonk approaches agency clients directly and lets them rate their agency on collaboration, advice, creativity and results. Agencies cannot submit anything themselves.
Ranking based on ratings
The ranking is built purely on those client ratings. Whoever scores highest on average comes out on top. As simple as that, and as fair.
The Fonk Awards
The results are announced at the annual Fonk Awards ceremony, where the highest-scoring agencies are honoured. That is where we received our award.

What does a 9.8 mean?
The score comes entirely from independent research by Fonk among our own clients. They rate the collaboration, the advice and the results, anonymously, without us being able to submit anything.
A 9.8 is the highest score ever awarded in the history of the Fonk 150. It means that virtually every client surveyed gave us close to the maximum score.
We could not ask for a better compliment: not a jury that likes us, but our clients who do.
