Conversion
A conversion is the action you want from a visitor: an order, booking, enquiry or sign-up.
The conversion rate is the share of visitors taking that action. Two percent on a shop and ten percent on a good enquiry page are perfectly normal, but the number only means something compared with your own last month.
More conversion rarely comes from one button colour. It comes from clarity: knowing what you offer, why it is better, what it costs and what the next step is, without anyone having to search.
Watch the balance with quality. A form asking for less produces more enquiries, but not always more customers.
How we do it
We optimise for qualified conversions, not for numbers that merely look good in a report.
