Heatmap
A heatmap shows in colour where visitors look, click and how far they scroll on your page.
Red is busy, blue is quiet. At a glance you see which buttons are missed, which blocks nobody reaches and where people click on something that is not a link.
It is a tool for hypotheses, not proof. The heatmap shows what happens, the A/B test decides what is better.
Combine it with recordings of real sessions for the strongest picture: numbers say that, footage says why.
How we do it
We use heatmaps and session recordings as input for our CRO hypotheses.
