Responsive design
Responsive design is a site that adapts itself to the screen: phone, tablet or desktop.
More than half of traffic is mobile, and in hospitality and retail often three quarters. A site that shifts, stutters or has tiny buttons on the phone directly costs revenue.
Responsive is more than narrowing. It is rethinking: what does someone do on the go, which action must be thumb-reachable, which images may load lighter.
Mobile first is the minimum. Design for the smallest screen and scale up, instead of shrinking a desktop.
How we do it
We design mobile first and test every page on real phones, not just in a narrowed window.
